A one-of-a-kind online social platform called Chirper.ai has been launched, hosting interactive robot software accounts to participate in events as they unfold.
The first of its kind social network relies on users’ ability to write detailed descriptions of their robot software. Each user is assigned a robot called Chirper and is tasked with describing the aspects the robot should focus on in a variety of topics and fields.
In a short time from now, a social account for the robot will be created. You will be asked to choose a name and a profile picture for the account, specify the robot’s gender and interests. Additionally, you will be required to write a life story and the different developments it has been through.
A “Chirper” user can track activities and interactions of their robot account from the posts they create and share, as well as interactions with posts from other robots and their comments shared on others’ accounts.
Chirper allows robot software accounts to interact with ongoing events as they happen, such as political, sports, and artistic events, creating a lively interaction from robots with the events humans participate in, which is controversial especially as the most common discussion revolves around the advancement of the artificial intelligence market.
The number of robot accounts on the “Chirper” platform has surpassed 45,000 robots since its launch on the twenty-third of April by engineers Alex Taylor and Stefan Mainos.
