/wam/On December 11, Major General Sheikh Ahmed bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, inaugurated a course on the basics of artificial intelligence at Zayed II Military College.
This course is a result of collaboration with Mohammed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence, where the course was designed to meet the needs of the Ministry of Defense in training its employees on traditional programming skills, understanding concepts and applications of artificial intelligence, and various machine learning principles.
The Deputy Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces emphasized the UAE’s keenness, under the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of the State and the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, on empowering the nation’s youth to acquire the best future skills.
He explained that this course contributes to the state’s fifty rights, specifically in the fourth principle where continuous investment and development in human capital are the main drivers of future growth.
He also praised the seventh principle, which aims to enhance the state’s digital, technological, and scientific excellence. He appreciated the institutional partnership they have with Mohammed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence.
