Ahmed Al Suwailm, CEO of the National Center for Non-Profit Development, has approved the establishment of the Artificial Intelligence Governance Association, with its headquarters in Jubail, and will be chaired by Dr. Dhabiya Ahmed Al Buainain.
Al Buainain explained that the goal of the new association is to achieve a significant impact on enriching Arabic content by raising awareness and culture in the field of artificial intelligence governance and ethics.
The association also aims to offer programs and activities related to providing awareness, training, consultations, and services, contributing to building an innovative digital economy and knowledge transfer. Additionally, the association will keep pace with rapid technological advancements, disseminate research and studies, build partnerships, and provide solutions for governance issues related to artificial intelligence in various fields.
The association is one of the civil society organizations supervised technically by the Supervisory Unit at the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority “Sdaya“, aiming to be a leading local and global association in enhancing artificial intelligence governance and ethics by providing specialized services and research in this field.
